Search - Book 3

The conflict is now over. No one wants to barter for bullets. Heaven and Hell were victorious they shattered humanities spite and the ego that held the defenses. Now they govern the planes of humanity. The Asgard soldiers refer to it as Midgard. As it turns out the warp is an elevator or tunnel that centralizes the Yggdrasil in connection to which the nine worlds exist. They will continue to maintain law until the infrastructure is rebuilt and humanity can once again luxuriate. My name is Search I am part of the Midgard Framework Force. There are not many of us. We are in alliance to re-create infrastructure for future order. I am completely on foot. I normally receive my orders through telepathy. My orders are simple find God. I am traveling on a minimum maintenance road I can see a bend ahead. I can hear the machinery in the distance, it’s not that far off. Around the bend there is a man sitting next to an antique crank music box. My eyes meet his as I pass and he comments. “The music is very dearer, not many walk the shores of Babylon not many at all.” I continue to pass unsure of what he meant. I can still hear the machinery. As I come to the top of an embankment and I see what the man on the road was referring to. A nearly dried up river with dead bodies washed up in silt creating massive wall. I can hear that the noises I am in search of, are on the other side of this wall. I take a deep breath, knowing I have to scale it. I visualize a mountain of rocks, pushing all thoughts of flesh out of my mind. Grasping the hands of the dead I lift myself to the top of this plateau of loss. I peer over the top into a valley where a digger is pushing bodies to the side clearing the battlefields. A soldier inside the digger shuts the machine down and gets out when he sees me in the cards. He aggressively begins to approach me. Meeting me half way. “Do you have the word?” “No.” I reply “I was looking for it.” The man stares at me firmly for a moment and swallows. “These souls need judged, they are piling up.” “We will have to keep them in the warp passage until a verdict is reached the souls can not roam the nine worlds freely.”

“My mission is to find God.” I reply. I need to continue forward swiftly. I will return once the judge is located. Hold your post.” Saluting each other I begin a steady paced run.

As I race forward across the terrain. His face comes to me sternly he yells “Patience!” I keep my pace as I race on. The day turns to night and I keep running there is nothing, or no one on my path. The wind picks up there is dust in the air. Suddenly a brick wall encloses around me like a prison. I am blocked. His voice comes to me again. “Rest.” Search drops to sleep in a wet sweat.

Dreams come to me. Images of him seated on the thrown. “When you awake head into it.” He mentors me forward through my dreams.

The Search awakes on a ship. I am sitting on the end of the bed dressed in my uniform. There is a knock at the door. I stand up and open the door. Looking at me, a man signals and gives instructions. “Time to get back to work.” The lighting is dim as we march down the long ship corridor. We arrive in the control room where I resume my place. My team is assembled. “What are our orders Captain Search?” Looking ahead out of the helm of the ship. We are in outer space a black dimension lies ahead. “Power through.” Placing my orders. The ship inhales the space around it. “We must search the nine home worlds to locate Judgement.” I tell my crew. As the ship settles into a new atmosphere we can see the part of the serpents body that circles the universe of the Yggdrasil. Ahead lies the world of Muspellheim.
